The staff is carefully appointed with regard to character as well as academic qualifications. Faculty meetings are regularly held and a deep personal interest is taken in every child. The enrolment is around 1400 and efforts are made to limit each class to 35 pupils thus ensuring individual attention and care of each child.
The school year is divided into three terms beginning from the first week of March and ending early in December with a break of eight days in June and October.
Pupils are admitted from the age of three in the Nursery class and from four in the Kindergarten. May study up to form XII. The medium of instruction throughout is English. Hindi is taught from the Kindergarten and Punjabi or Sanskrit for four years in the middle Forms. Basic techniques of learning through handiwork and activity are much used in the lower Forms. Computer Studies are Compulsory Form I to Form VIII.
The school is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination which has adopted the new national pattern of education of 10+2. At the end of Form X the girls sit for the ICSE (Indian School Certificate Examination), which are public examinations.
Foreign Students Parents / guardians of all Foreign Students must see that the visas on the passports are valid from March to December for the year for which a student is admitted. Any lapse in this shall be the responsibility of the Parents / guardians and not of the School. The School shall levy a suitable service charge for police registration, custody of passports and related formalities. Foreign students shall pay their fees in foreign currency only.
