Visiting Hours for Parents and Local Guardians

2nd and 4th Saturday : 2.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m.

2nd and 4th Sunday : 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

Outing for Boarders. All Parents and Local Guardians to note :

9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Day Outing

Boarders to return by 5.00 p.m. in case of a Night Outing on the scheduled day.

Kindly note that no outing will be permitted unless duly filled visitor's forms are submitted. This will be permitted only after 14th April, 2015.

Important Information

  1. Parents and local guardians are reminded not to go to the Dormitories. Matrons and Housekeepers may be contacted for any assistance.
  2. All correspondence must be addressed only to the Principal instead of individual members of the staff, either by name or designation.
  3. Leave will be given to boarders only on the days permitted and only to visit the parents or authorised guardians.
  4. If leave is required on any other occasion, an application in writing must be made to the Principal by the parent or guardian, at least one day in advance.
  5. Resident scholars may celebrate their birthdays in the School only. "Permission WILL NOT be given to go out". Kindly see that you do not indulge your child on such occasions.
  6. If a student returns late after the vacation or from leave she will be fined Rs.500/- per day and in addition will forefeit all exeats for that term.
  7. Parents can telephone their wards on the following Telephone Numbers as per time and day specified.

The parents of the students of Forms VI to VIII will call on Saturdays and the parents of the Boarders of Form IX to XII can speak to their wards on Sundays.

Overseas Parents may call their wards on Friday evening between 5.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. except during examinations.

Kindly note that the timings for phone calls during the Half Yearly, Selection and Final Examinations will be as follows:

Saturday : 1.30 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.
Sunday : 9.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. & 1.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.

The girls are permitted to call up their parents from the School PCO during the week in case they have not spoken to them over the weekend. Parents are not permitted to let any child make phone calls from their mobile phones. Calls made from any other place would be considered a serious breach of school discipline liable to be strictly penalized. Please ensure that your child does not bring a MOBILE PHONE/I Pods with Wifi devices to school. Doing so, would lead to EXPULSION. Once confiscated the Mobile Phone/I Pad will not be returned to the child or her family.

Day scholars are strictly prohibited from helping the boarders in bringing or passing messages through telephone Calls / mobile phones / Internet or bringing in any food items.

  • Enrolment in Auckland House School implies on the part of pupil and parents, willingness to comply with all the requirements and regulations of the school.
  • The Principal has the right to suspend the attendance or require the withdrawl of any pupil without assigning any reason ; provided that she is satisfied that such a step is necessary in the interest of the school. The Principal reserves the right to waive off the rules contained herein without any reason for her action.
  • Parents are requested to uphold the School rules and not to make requests for leave to attend family ceremonies or marriages etc. Kindly see that such functions conform to the School Vacation Calendar. Kindly note that your daughter must have 75% attendance to sit for each of the terminal examinations, failing which she will not be allowed to take the test due to shortage of attendance. This conforms to what is expected by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination. Students must adhere to the Unit Tests schedule as the Marks of the Unit Test will be added to the Final Promotion Examination.
  • Pocket money is issued by the School office. Private money is strictly prohibited as are private charge accounts in town or elsewhere. No food is to be brought from outside unless due permission has been obtained from the Principal. Violation may lead to Expulsion.
  • Parents desirous of withdrawing their ward from school must give one month's notice for the day scholars and three months' notice for a boarder before the actual withdrawal.
  • No school leaving certificates will be issued from 15th December, 2015 to 1st March, 2016. Written requests for school leaving certificates should be made before the 15th of December, 2015, in addition to intimation through the Retention Form.
  • Kindly note that it is compulsory for each girl to join at least one Trek / Excursion during the session. All the boarders of the Junior School i.e. UKG-Form V will join the excursion in March/April, 2015.
  • I would also like to inform you that parents are welcome to participate in all the various activities of the school as mentioned in the fixture.
  • All parents are requested to refer to information in the fixture with regard to Day or Night outing. Please note no one will be permitted an outing on days that have not been specified.
